CNN...Threat or Menace?
In December 2006, William Bazillion announced his expedition to the Arctic, with the intention of recovering some long-missing Nazi gold. By the spring of 2007, William and his crew set forth for Svalbard, the site of the Doomsday Seed Vault.

As a matter of fact, the two most major plot devices in William Bazillion right now involve Svalbard's Doomsday Seed Vault and the search for Nazi gold.

That's why I was more than a little surprised when I clicked on CNN's website yesterday and discovered this:

That probably doesn't look like much of anything, but check out this enlarged clipping from CNN's Science news, as it appeared on February 28, 2008:

I'm not the paranoid type, but I'm expecting to see headlines pairing Doug Henning's corpse and Nixon nostalgia any day now...
