Frost Nixon

Nope, he's not in this week's comic, but there's still no shortage of other Nixons. Check out this week's William Bazillion for the answers to all of life's little questions.

As long as those questions are about Nixon clones.

"So what was the next part of your plan, after you saved us?"

Just one page of William Bazillion this week, but I think it's a good one...

And just to bulk up this entry, I'll remind all y'all that I've got a Facebook account where you can keep track of all of my blog announcements among other things, and the lovely and talented Shaenon K. Garrity has one, too.

And, in an effort to drum up additional conversation, does anyone else like the 1989 Batman movie more than this summer's Dark Knight movie? The 2008 Batman needed about 200% more Prince on the soundtrack...

Max O'Millions and The Red Menace

I'm traveling this week, so the new installment of William Bazillion is "classic" material that debuted waaaaaay back at the Stumptown Comics Fest in April. For your reading pleasure, please click on the link and enjoy the first half of "Max O'Millions and The Red Menace."

Part two arrives next week, and The Race for Santa's Nazi Gold resumes the following week.

To the heart of a mighty volcano!

Here's the new installment of William Bazillion. This week sums up the whole character pretty well, and it's based on one of the ideas that went into the creation of good ol' William in the first place:

...and starring Richard Nixon as "The Beaver"

The William Bazillion Story begins this week at http://www.williambazillion.com

Miss it at your peril!

And for those of you in the Portland area, I'll be at the Stumptown Comics Fest this weekend, exhibiting for the first time as part of The Couscous Collective. I'll be selling copies of my brand-spanking new mini-comic "Max O'Millions and The Red Menace," featuring the mysterious Max O'Millions/Richard Nixon crossover hinted at earlier in Chapter Five.

"Red Menace" will go on sale through my website shortly after that, for those of you who are interested in such things.

And please, please remind me a few months before this year's Alternative Press Expo that there's no law against starting your next comic earlier than the weekend before you're going to be selling copies of it at a convention.

Miss it at your peril!

It's probably best if you don't know.

Last Thursday, Shaenon and I were officially confirmed as members of The National Cartoonists Society! Yes, the same NCS that has counted Walt Kelly, Charles Schulz, Al Capp, Sergio Aragones, Hank Ketcham and many, many other talented artists among their ranks now includes me and Shaenon K. Garrity.

And if I'm really, really lucky, none of the members of the NCS will read this week's Chronicles of William Bazillion, since I'm sure it's grounds for expulsion.
